Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and the team behind ops for using ops (openpeoplestore.party). By creating an account or using ops, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ops.
1.Who can use ops
You must be at least 16, and able to agree to these terms where you live. If you use ops for a business, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
2.Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your handle is your store’s address. You can change it, but links using the old handle stop working. We may take back a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or misleads people.
3.Your content
You own what you post: your notes, photos, comments and the rest. So that ops can work, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and share your content on ops and in previews of it (for example, when someone shares a link to your store), for as long as it is on ops. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already shared or that we must keep by law.
You confirm you have the right to post everything you post, including photos you did not take yourself.
4.What is not allowed
- Anything illegal, or links to illegal, dangerous or counterfeit products.
- Harassment, hate, threats, or content that sexualises minors.
- Impersonating someone, or misleading people about who you are.
- Spam, scams, malware, or links that hide where they go.
- Hiding that you were paid, sponsored or gifted something you recommend. Say so in your note. ops adds an affiliate disclosure automatically where affiliate links are used.
- Scraping ops, interfering with how it runs, or getting around blocks and access rules.
5.Links, shops and purchases
ops does not sell anything. When you tap “Buy” you go to a shop that has nothing to do with us, and any purchase is between you and that shop, under its terms. We are not responsible for products, prices, availability, delivery or what the shop does with your information.
Links on ops may be affiliate links, which means the store owner can earn a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. Recommendations are the store owner’s own; we do not check or endorse them.
6.Reports, removal and suspension
You can report a post or a person from their page. We may remove content, limit features or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts people at risk, and where we can, we will tell you why. If you think we made a mistake, write to [email protected].
7.Leaving ops
You can stop using ops at any time. To delete your account and your content, write to us and we will do it. We may stop offering ops, or parts of it, and will give reasonable notice where we can.
8.No guarantees
ops is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and safe, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that content on it is accurate.
9.Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for anything a shop, another user or a linked site does. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will let you know on ops or by email before they take effect. If you keep using ops after that, the new terms apply.
11.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of ops is established, without taking away any protection the law where you live gives you as a consumer. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy policy.
